Before Israel’s attacks on Lebanon, the GAME zone in Douris was a safe place where children and youth could come together. The war reduced it to ruins – and now, GAME and young local volunteers are working hard to rebuild the community and restore hope after the tragedy. Your support means everything.

In the summer of 2024, we opened a new GAME zone in Douris, located in the Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon. It was the only space in the area where children and youth could gather for free, play street basketball, dance, and experience joy, safety, and a sense of belonging – in a daily life marked by crisis.

The young volunteers in GAME Lebanon had just created a safe and welcoming environment – but just one week later, Lebanon was struck by Israeli attacks. More than a million people were displaced, tens of thousands were killed – and the GAME zone in Douris was destroyed.

To donate is not just about rebuilding the court or putting up basketball hoops. It’s about giving children and youth a safe place where they can come together again – to find hope, movement, and a community.
